A Vietnamese woman told people at the Công Viên 23 Tháng 9 that I get money from the American government
.
No, I don't get money from the government. She assumed. She misunderstood my story. Many times, I introduce myself to people but people get some of the details wrong accidentally & purposely like the telephone game. My name is Joey Arnold, Original Oatmeal. I work for myself. I do not work for free. I am not a volunteer
.
I'm a freelance American English Tutor & Teacher. I teach at coffee shops & even at McDonald's near the 23/9 Park, Q.1, TP.HCM, Vietnam. Curriculum, tuition, schedules, size classes, teaching methods, styles, & other things are customizable & negotiable. I'm an entrepreneur. I'm my own boss. For more information, you can call my Vietnamese manager (Mark) & talk to him in Vietnamese. You can call him at 0167-253-7970
.
I like money. I need money. I don't "really" teach English for free. But people say that I teach for free. But it is not that simple. I'm a busy person & I have many hobbies. Can I teach you? That is a good question. You can ask my manager about that. My time is my time. My services go to the higher bidders. First come, first served. I can't always promise too many things to people, for people, & things like that. I was born 1985 in America, moved to Vietnam in 2012, & I love Vietnam. I love Vietnamese people & culture. I like progress, development. I'm a film maker, artist, writer, consultant, researcher, actor, musician, comedian, producer, director, inventor, designer, counselor, athlete, etc.....
.
I like many things but I don't like it when people lie about me intentionally or even just subconsciously. People say things about me that are not true. When I teach, I ask for at least $100 USD (one hundred dollars/hr) per hour per student or more. In other words, I ask for about 2.000.000 VND per hour or much more (Two million VND/hr). Many people will say that is expensive. My time is priceless. I am a very busy person. If this is too much money, then tough luck. You can find other teachers to learn with
.
I'm not only a teacher. I'm also a career counselor & a story teller. I have many plans for the future with videos, books, & so much more. I'm a businessman & I make money. I am not homeless. People say I'm homeless. They lie. I rent a $100 USD/month room. I buy my own food. I do not steal from people. I'm creative. I love people. I'm like Jack Sparrow & Harry Potter
.
Reread this post. People are misreading & misunderstanding & misinterpreting what I write & what I mean. I wrote that I ask for certain things but I also say that things can be negotiable as well

Người Tài Năng 100 USD per hour? i'm not sure but most of popular students could not meet our requirement
Người Tài Năng in my opinion, instead of teaching rich people, why dont you teach a group of students with lower price?

As an actual comedian, I would relish proof towards your claim of being a comedian.
- Joey Arnold We are all comedians. Comedy is a force of nature. It is like the force in Star Wars
Gia Kỳ Ross From
where i stand,I think that you can teach a group of student at your
home or 23/9 Park with a lower free, may be 100USD/2 months. It's could
be the most possible fee,and you can get more money. Think about that heart emoticon
Gia Kỳ Ross I
swer I read your post really carefully.Firstly, I respect all
teachers,so I also respect you. Secondly, I think you missed some
punctuation, such as " ". Because only very rich students can join your
class,Vietnamese students can't spend $100 just for 1h to study with any
teacher. Finally,I hope you don't hate me if I misunderstand your post .
Please explain your thingking with more detail . Love you heart emoticon
Joey Arnold Punctuation
marks ("") are not always required. Punctuation marks are required for
direct quotes but not for indirect quotes. It depends on the literature
style, the writer, the audience, the media, the time, the importance,
the culture, where you live, when you live, who you are, how you want to
write, & the ability to communicate well enough to get messages
& ideas across successfully & adequately
Gia Kỳ Ross But I think you should add " " to ur post because too many people totally misunderstood it
Joey Arnold If
people misunderstand what I write, then they should learn English.
People who know English understand what I write. I wrote that things are
negotiable
Gia Kỳ Ross Maybe their English need lightening. Please do something to help them. You're a good teacher,I hope to meet you some day
Linh Vu i can see u are a good teacher.love e and want to give it for many people.
Joey Arnold Maybe
you misread my post. Look at each word and study each word carefully.
People skip what I write. People don't know enough English to understand
what I write
Joey Arnold I
wrote other information in a previous paragraph. I also wrote that I
ask for certain things. However, you have to think about what "ASKING"
means. I am not Adolf Hitler. I am not a king. In a previous paragraph,
& in other posts for the past three years,
I've wrote, thousands of times, to thousands of people, & in
videos, so many times, that things are negotiable. People are taking
words out of context & misquoting me like I'm some kind of
politician & people are just trying to find problems with what i
write because that is what they do
Joey Arnold Gabe Hauschildt,
I wrote that I ask for a certain number. The operative word in what I
wrote is the word "ASK" and not the numbers that I may or may not have
wrote & still write sometimes purposely or accidentally or
subconsciously or subliminally or sarcastically
or honestly or whatever that it may be. I do not know what you are
quoting from. Look at the actual post that I wrote & not what people
are saying. People misread my quote because they ignored the word
"ASKING" or "ASK" which has a special meaning & it goes with the
negotiating thing as well
Gabe Hauschildt You
said, quote "When I teach, I ask for at least $100 USD (one hundred
dollars/hr) per hour per student or more." YOU MUST BE JOKING, YES?
- Joey Arnold Gabe Hauschildt, I am not joking. It is not a crime to ask for things. The most important word that I wrote was the word "Negotiate." However, in the art or bartering, the seller will ask for a higher price while the buyers will seek a lower price. In markets, they often compromise & settle with a price in the middle
.
People are not reading what I write. I wrote that tuition is negotiable. People seem to ignore that part of the post. I suggest a price in a later paragraph. I want people to know that I am not a joke & that my value is higher than that of the sexpats at the 23/9 Park
.
I am not happy with people because they are misunderstanding what I am writing. An asking price is not the same thing as the actual price
.

Joey Arnold I do not know who you are. I do not know why you are asking. Some people ask because they care. Some ask for fun. It is hard to say who you are exactly
