- Ben Robinson people went clubbing in a t-shirt, sweat pants and sneakers, because you were going to dance your ass off for 6 hours straight, hardly anyone would drink anything other than water, the DJ looked just like anyone else (but with more acne), and snobbery and status bullshit would get you laughed out of the place. All that scene was what made dance music what it is today.
