- Bert Wiswell Do you see what a conversation is like with Scotty when you do not agree? ....funny
- Scotty Dinh I did research about this a hundred time over.. a PGCE is a certificate of teaching. therefor you don't need to do it again. I hold a CELTA but i rather get a PGCE or a Master of Education (USA). I mean what do you got Tuan? IF you hold a PGCE than I eat my hat.
- Lotus Jta Issac Slade, are you saying that you follow most of Scotty Dinh posts. Seem you and Scotty Dinh are great partners
- Thu Minh Scotty rock! I like all his posts and comments as they are useful and not spam like the legendary Joey Arnold Oatmeal :))
- Tuan Huynh PGCE in Maths secondary and just eat your hat and shut it for 5 minutes you want me to send you a scan of my certificate
- Thu Minh I mean your comments are not spam like Joey so Im ok with it smile emoticon
- Tuan Huynh I never said I could not get a job! Just not in language schools because my PGCE is not related and plus coz im Vietnamese and not white!
- Thu Minh Well just post what you like because I dont care smile emoticon Bert Wiswell
- Tuan Huynh In international schools Im over qualified coz I was a HOD (head of department)
- Scotty Dinh If you remember correctly.. that other post was talking about that guy who has a PGCEi , he wanted to get into international school
- Bert Wiswell Thu Minh, if you compare every post with Joey Oatmeal, then you should have nothing to complain about!
- Tuan Huynh Like I said I m more interested in you munching on your hat and bow in humbling shame smile emoticon Does it taste nutrious?
- Scotty Dinh And you and I disgree on him getting a TEFL cert.. right? We're not talking language school but international school.
- Bert Wiswell Tuan Huynh, did you look at colleges, example Dong Noi Technical College? I did some work with the faculty there of teaching methods
- Ann Nguyen there is too much debate on this page recently, this is more than what i think about game requests on facebook, oh my notification frown emoticon
- Scotty Dinh hehe @ Thu Minh your too nice sometimes. But Bert is going to bore you. Really should block Bert if he bore you. I have bondless engergy and the just drain it all away.
- Scotty Dinh I'm done too, see you all guys. Night Tuan, we'll rematch later. I'm having a hat for lunch tomorrow.
- Tuan Huynh BW I am a visiting lecturer for several colleges. This is not really an issue for me and I also have private students. But I like a full time permanent job in a place where I like the working environment.......and may be apply for a work visa. The issue is the racist attitude of the language schools which surprised and sadden me. Not expected from my own ignorant people!
- Bert Wiswell Tuan Huynh, ok .... I suppose you are in a different position than Scotty. Often several part time gigs are better than one full time. I did that before.
- Tuan Huynh BW Its not the money I have businesses and a house back in the UK so money is not an issue for me.....the learners who needed me the most are often the ones I am prevented from teaching thats the issue. Also the arrogant and ignorant attitude of the Vietnamese Educators.
- Bert Wiswell OK, Tuan Huynh, sorry, I thought you came back to Vietnam with your father, who is a physician and are living with him and looking for work. I must have misunderstood. I apologize.
- Tuan Huynh No my parents are retired doctors. i come back to get a house so they can come back eventually
- Bert Wiswell I understand the attitude aboyt Vietnamese employers. They have no problem stipulating nationality, gender, age range for who they want to hire. Very wierd for someone who has spent 20 years in Human Resources
- Tuan Huynh I hear you...have a master in HRM smile emoticon ...would you offer to eat your hat as well if i produce it? LOL sorry just SD already eating his hat....so if I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone....LOL
- Bert Wiswell The first training I did in Vietnam in 2004 was with Mai Linh Taxi. When I talked about gender equality, the response was "Husbands may not allow their wives to drive taxis because they will not be able to care for their children." I am very proud that there are many women taxi drivers now in Vietnam, not only at Mai Linh Taxi, but they were the first.
- Bert Wiswell Tuan Huynh, my PhD is in HRD. I have taught and consulted in Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia for the last 10 years, was a tenured professor is the USA before tat. I believe you, of course. SD has his mouth full,
- Ashard Deen Bert, shame you didn't teach them how to shift gears!
- Bert Wiswell I did not teach driving skills, but actually I set up a small taxi company for them in Washington DC (25 Taxis), to have a "presence"
- Bert Wiswell bought a building and renovated also, near Union Station
- Ashard Deen So i can can blame you for the fact their service is still pants? wink emoticon
- Abe Kim Scotty Dinh. You hit up my YouTube vids. I guess you love all thongs Viet
- Bert Wiswell You can blame me if you want, but ask most people who will tell you they are the best
- Ashard Deen Relax Bert, just taking the piss. I have a card with them too and prefer them over Vinasun.
