Although, before all of that happens and before the sun implodes etc - humans will evolve into a telepathic species that lives closer in touch with its environment.
This species looks slightly different, more like what we would call aliens.
However, those decedent from us will manage to develop time travel and eventually travle back to interfere their own/our evolution in order to eventually create themselves.
By doing so they also accidentally create all the big religions and jumpstart civilisations like the Inkas, the Mayas, the Sumerians and the Egyptians as they believed the 'visitors' where gods.
But at this stage - any other guess would do it and probably is just as valid...

a will, and a choice that it be so. A hand guiding development
according to destiny. To ask "why" without a clear source of where that
"why" came from is to not ask a question at all. You need to first find a
source of the choice and then comprehend its motives... how's that

it.... doing good is good and doing bad is bad regardless of alleged
motivations and other things and objectivity is the bottom line and you
passed on an alleged idiom about faking it and the concept of faking it

though... imposing will on reality is perhaps what makes humans
interesting.We MAKE reality. Steer our own destiny. Take what is then
shape it how we imagine and will. Has anything
great ever been done by us without believing in something which does
not yet be? In Buddhism and Christianity, the technique of applying
"what would Jesus/Siddhartha do?" is a great way to make progress -- the
essence of fake it till you make it.
