Joey Arnold is with Romelus Saladar.
What
kind of teacher are you? Are you more concerned with order or
creativity from your students? Unfortunately, too many educators are too
archaic, as in boring, old, outdated, and unapproachable.
.
The art and heart of education is actually more an art than a science, obviously. Physically speaking, mentally speaking, the science of memory is more a science than an art. Learning is more an art than a science. The best kind of teachers are ones whom listen more, play more, ask more questions, interacted more. Students are not always going to remember what you said but they'll remember how you made them feel. Classrooms are better when they're more interactive. Make learning more a game, a journey, an adventure, as opposed to lecture. Come down to their level. The best kind of teachers are able to teach children and adults. Give your students opportunities to step outside comfort zones. Become their friend, sometimes. You probably should be their instructor, first. Be confident in what you are doing. Believe in what you say. Only say what you believe in. Be more patient with students. Give students more open ended questions. Give your students more choices to choose from. Smile more, too. Share your experience and wisdom more, too, with the whole world. Have more fun, too, as educators. Children are our future. Take care of them.

Joey Arnold Agreed. I see them. It makes me a little sad. Some people are a bit better at teaching than others, too.

Jamie Thompson From what I see and heard, they’re after the salary as English teachers are in demand in Vietnam.

this confuse me as well. Now, what’s your plan? What if they found out
that you overstay for 2 years? Aren’t you going to try to do something?
Marry a Vietnamese and get a dual citizen here?🤣

Joey Arnold Jamie Thompson, I will try to save up enough money to make a new visa. I want to try to do that.

I did that. They tried. They failed. After many weeks of trying, there
was one company that helped me out in 2013. But at that time, I had no
money because I gave it to this family.

Jamie Thompson Oh sorry to hear that! Are you still working at the moment?

Tim Kim Sa The smart thing to do is hire a lawyer to handle your visa issues for you.

Tim Kim Sa Just because you were denied an extension doesn't mean you couldn't have renewed your visa or gotten a new Visa.

Chetverikov what is your definition of work? There is the physical
definition and the legal definition. People always put them all into one
definition. According to the law, work is defined by employers and not

Joey Arnold Legally
speaking, I have to say that I am not employed to teach and therefore
not a teacher and therefore not teaching, legally speaking, from that
point of view and therefore not being illegal as an English Teacher on
the basis that freelance teachers are not teachers and therefore I am
not a teacher because I am void of descended employment by definition
never mind the ascending employment, perhaps.
