Why
is it that I see in the south a vast amount more of beggars and working
children than in the north? Is the south poorer than the north? Is it
something cultural?

Jim Cantrell Just

of thing than in the North.... whatever the case you are right Tom there

Mathieu Cole Byers It’s
also warmer there so maybe it attracts more of it. Plus many people
said by to move to Hanoi for various reasons so that in some way could
play a role. Also you know big bustling cities always have a larger
challenge to feed and shelter everyone. HCMC
seems to be getting gentrified very quickly which is also driving
people from their homes more quickly than Hanoi... could be wrong, I am
only a guest living in this country.

Jim Cantrell The
rich become richer the poor become poorer its the end result of this
eutopian dream called capitalism that I have been a part of all my life.

Nguyễn Tấn Linh You
will see countless of free dring water tanks on the street of saigon,
but when 1 person in hanoi put a tank on the street, the police will
come immediately, the people living near that house will be the one who
call the police because they sell drinking water and that gesture would
affect earning money!

money, more begging because people believe in equality, that rich
people have too much money and must share it with others: and people
tend to give more money to beggars in Saigon which encourages beggars to
beg more because begging is easier than other kinds of like work and
stuff. People want things to be fair, not imbalanced, unequal. People
don't want some to have a lot of money while others are maybe too poor.
Beggars try to get others to feel sorry for them.
