- Luong Hien Joey Arnold, one country has no right to impose its regime on other countries. eventhough it is proved to be superior to others'. It is ok if one country helps another. I think capitalism is undeniable, so sooner or later we will have to undergo that stage

Do you know what VN had? VN is rich for it natural and human resourses. And what were the fact? What did millions of Vietnamese people have to suffer from under the interference of those countries? Capitalism is a stage that we have to undergo but not in the way of being repressed and forced to follow and do what the countries wanted
- Luong Hien What must come must come. We would have become a capitalist country if we had been left alone, if those countries had not come to tell us that they were right, we were wrong and then forced us to do what they wanted. Those countries never came to help for nothing.
You were not in our shoes so dont just stand there judging. Even when VN had civil war, there was nothing to do with those countries. - Vu Son Joey Arnold, You are correct. Finally, The leaders of Vietnam understood that they must change their mind and thinking about Capitalism. This is the best way to developing country. Vietnam have many clever people but they are still in other countries on the world. I do believe that they will come back Vietnam to work if Vietnam have good politic like Japan, Korea, Singapo... They no need to pround of war. They never forget the past but they've put it in side.

- Kim Ngan everything should be considered in its own historical context. if you havent got vietnamese history well, dont judge it as you was in our pocket. Every coin has 2 sides, capitalism or Communism has both disadvantages and advantages. What we need to do is to realize and correct the shortcomings and help it keep up with the current stage. The contribution of HCM to VN has not been denied and was recognized by the whole world, not just a group of people. So, please keep your mouth shut until you truely understand about him and his mind, even about our history.
- Luong Hien Im not a specialist in history but I appreciate what I have now thanks to the sacrifice of many generations. We were not like South Korea. And now there is not South VN and North VN any more. Vietnam is only geographically divided into the north, the central and the south.

We just put it inside and be friend with all the countries in the world. It is our good will. And so far you certainly also have benefited greatly from that.

- Au Rainy No, South Vn dislike South Korea. The French were divided Vietnam into two parts for easy control. You know, Viet nam is a poor country and people of Viet Nam just wanna do business in peace and live in peace. But French came and took everything. They had guns and modern equipment for killing, they forced our people to worked for them without money or salary. We are more miserable than before. They raped women, killed men and beat children, we had no food and million people had died of hunger. For so many years some heroes stood up fight against dominationstand . But they were killed. For many hundred years Chinese, Japanese came to....Our people had lived slavery and imprisonment in our country... And then Ho Chi Minh, great human found the way to saved our country. .. this city Saigon. I do not call this city Ho Chi Minh City. I talk to
people in Saigon who favor the Republic of Vietnam instead of the
Communist Party of Vietnam. The Communist Party of Vietnam is not the
only political party in Vietnam, but they have the majority of the
government, like the Democrats do sometimes in America

The government of Vietnam changes the history books and tells people that Vietnam did not invade Cambodia or the people of ancient South Vietnam. However, Vietnam did take over land hundreds of years ago. Vietnamese history books says that China invaded Vietnam but that Vietnam is a nice country that does not invade other people. Vietnam invaded. China invades. But America did not invade Vietnam

America gave Saigon capitalism. I was in Hanoi & Hanoi has more communism in it. Saigon is America but America did not invade Saigon

The Communist Party does not support capitalism. They do not want you to earn more money. They want everybody to make the same amount of money. They want everybody to share the load. However, that is not fair. I do not like it when people talk about the two sides of the coin. People are missing the point

Saigon was the best and most developed city of south-East Asia in the 1940's and 1950's and even the 1960's, but then the Communist Party came in and closed the borders and stopped the growth of Saigon until the 2000's..... and that is why Singapore and Hong Kong and Tokyo and Bankok were able to surpass Saigon..... communism does not work because people do not work... people are greedy.....

You have to reward the winners with more money, which means some people will get poorer as the richer gets richer.... capitalism creates gaps between the richest and the poorest....

Never mind that question because communism creates apathy and laziness and hopelessness and bad things that is much worse than the financial gaps in capitalism

In Capitalism, some win and some lose: you can win and you can lose: but you have that freedom and opportunity to compete
