Doug MacKenzie Drunkards, Druggies, Boorish, Selfish, BS'ers, uneducated but presenting themselves as educated etc.- The other 5% are okay
Jack Clayton Expats on here constantly bashing teachers whilst using terrible examples of English themselves! Also when did understanding sarcasm become such a high-brow form of entertainment? And the whole 'I get it cheaper than you' argument gets pretty boring.
Karel Papik And Im the one who was told that has too many questions...
Martin William Bunch Perrin When they ask "what is the price for electricity? I think my landlord overcharge me 200.000Ä‘" .
Jimmy Clarke People who don't factor the value of personal time into purchasing advice. e.g., "Don't buy from shop X 5 metres from your house. They cost 5000 dong more than shop Y. Shop Y are only 3 hours away from you in scolding heat and rush hour traffic."
Louis Knutson When they post "welcome to vietnam" to anyone who has any issue. Should be a permaban from the interweb
Matthew Young Ripping apart newcomers - being here longer than someone doesn't necessarily make you better than them. Especially when they are genuinely looking for help.
(Oh and people who ride bikes without helmets obviously wink emoticon - that's true but please that's been done to death and I am making a joke at my own expense - lets not start a thread... ...please)

David Walsh Continuously giving out about people smoking on their bike
David O'Brien Peopl with silver spoons in their mouths who act like they are gods gift to humanity helping the poor Vietnamese rise up to be as great as them, meanwhile actually treating people around them like shit. Also agree with the complainers who do nothing but criticise that's annoying.
Tuan Huynh Every other expat is a 'qualified' fking ESL teacher.....
Jack Clayton 'fucking'
Tuan Huynh Dont be pedantic..you must be an ESL teacher...wink emoticon

Jeremy Ostrander The guy that complains about the shitty selection of American "INSERT GRAPE VARIETAL HERE" at the 6 wine stores in Thao Dien.
David O'Brien Oh another one people with superiority complexes because they are "real" teachers tongue emoticon
Jack Clayton I think to find the 'real' teachers you need to go way down to the bottom of the barrel of the ESL world. The 60+ classes out in the arse end of know where district or the visa-less alcos who have been here for 15 years and still earn 13 dollars an hour. They're some real teachers right there!

Tuan Huynh 'another one people'...? Do I really need to reply to this...?
David O'Brien No you dont Tuan, you dont have to reply to every comment going. Another annoying one, people who use bad grammar to criticise, really is the lowest common denominator tongue emoticon
Tuan Huynh Glad you have the inferiority complex off your chest then...::)

Jeremy Ostrander The guy that makes 30x the salary of a local, but is pissed that he gets charged 2x the local price for a carrot.
Jeremy Miller Hmm...I dunno because I don't often encounter fellow expats outside this group.
Based on my semi-regular trips to Saigon I'd say you seem like you drink a lot and are a rather noisy bunch but maybe that's because I'm hanging around Bui Vien. smile emoticon

Tim Camp Most people on Bui Vien are backpackers and sexpats. The rest of us pretty much do the same thing, but wouldn't be caught dead there... lol

Jeremy Miller Maybe I need to observe you in your natural surroundings...
Mat James Wow, there really is no Socratic oath here.
Jeremy Ostrander What is the Socratic oath? I googled it already so I don't think it even exists.
Mat James Haha what happened there?! Hypocratic oath!!

Robert Benjamin Ott III Not posting enough memes or generally entertaining content.
Michael David Kemp Expats who believe a person has to be hardnosed, sarcastic and generally better than everyone and everything to live here.
Jeremy Miller Well you don't HAVE to be better than everyone and anything but it certainly helps. wink emoticon
